While I think all victims should move on and disassociate themselves from past trauma's, I have to say "how on earth could a victim move on when parole boards let perpetrators go just one third of the way into a sentence".In this situation I agree with the victim in her challenge. Not because the Parole board didn't give weight to her submission but to the fact that this man comitted a terrible crime and was sentenced accordingly. Let him serve a minimum of 50% of that time before even considering his release. Better yet let him serve the entire sentence, lets face it New Zealand sentencing is crap.
Once again the Parole board must have more information than anyone else in the country because I fail to see anyone who supported his release.
